Let begin - This is a great beginner Pattern. It combines some of the skills I teach in my Adult beginner classDon’t worry if you have not taken one of my classes. I will walk you through the skills with this pattern.
We will learn how to make your skirt look better than store-bought. I believe in making things look hand-made, not home-made. You are becoming an artist when you take fabric and make it become something. So let’s learn how to make it look great inside and out.
Please pick your size by your waist measurement not by what you wear in the store.
This pattern works best with a light to med weight woven fabric. You can use a knit fabric, just if there a lot of stretch in the knit fabric you may want to go down a size.
I have over 40 years of experience. I am a certified sewing educator through the Home Sewer Association and I teach part-time at Central Piedmont Community College, Hobby Lobby, and at Ruth Sewing Academy.
